We did not start as an agency. We started as builders.
For over 25 years, the same team has been shipping software that organisations depend on. That track record is what you get when you work with us.
Our story
Same team. New chapter.
The core of Dextrasoft is a team that spent over two decades building one of the Netherlands' leading procurement platforms — Negometrix. When it was acquired by Mercell, we did not scatter. We started Dextrasoft.
Early 2000s
Team comes together around Negometrix
A small group of developers in Sofia begins building an e-procurement platform for the Dutch market.
2009
NX3 launches
A full platform rebuild. Negometrix grows to serve hundreds of Dutch organisations.
2017

What makes us different.
01
We have built at enterprise scale before
Negometrix was used by thousands of organisations and processed billions in contracts. That is not agency experience — that is product experience. We know what breaks at scale because we have been there.
02
Permanent employees, not contractors
Every developer who works on your project is a permanent Dextrasoft employee. Not placed by an agency, not on a short contract. The team that starts your project finishes it.
03
Small teams, full accountability
We work in teams of 3 to 6. Every person on the team knows your project in detail. No handoffs, no knowledge gaps, no junior developers hidden behind a senior face.
04
Long-term by default
Most of our clients have worked with us for years. We do not deliver and disappear. We stay involved after launch, keep improving the product and treat your software as our own.

FAQ
What technologies do you work with?
Our core stack is .NET Core on the backend with Angular or React on the frontend. We also work with Python, Node.js and Vue depending on the project. For cloud hosting we default to Azure, but we deploy to AWS and Google Cloud as well.
How long does a typical web application take to build?
A focused MVP typically takes 9 – 11 weeks from kickoff to production. More complex platforms — with multi-tenancy, complex workflows, or integrations — take 4–9 months. We will give you a realistic timeline after a scoping session, not an optimistic one.
Do you also do UX/UI design?
Yes. Design is part of our process, not an add-on. We have designers who work alongside developers from day one. We do not hand off a Figma file and disappear — the same team takes the design through to production.
Can you take over an existing codebase?
Yes. We start with a code audit to give you an honest assessment of what we are dealing with. We have modernised systems built in .NET 2.0, WebForms, and other legacy stacks — without losing data or uptime.
What happens after launch?
Most of our clients continue with us after launch. We offer ongoing development retainers, maintenance contracts, and on-call support. We do not build and disappear — the team that built it stays involved.

FAQ
Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?
Yes. We manage the full submission process for both stores, including preparing the listing, screenshots, descriptions and handling review feedback. We know the common rejection reasons and how to avoid them.
Should we build native or cross-platform?
For most B2B tools and consumer apps, React Native or Flutter is the right choice — faster, cheaper and the quality is indistinguishable from native for 90% of use cases. We will tell you honestly if your use case needs native.
Can you take over an existing app?
Yes. We start with a code audit and give you an honest picture of what we are taking on. We have modernised apps built by multiple different teams left in an inconsistent state.
How do you test on real devices?
We test on a range of physical iOS and Android devices throughout the project. Every sprint we deliver a working build you can install directly on your phone. No emulator-only surprises at the end.
What happens after launch?
We provide ongoing support, monitoring and feature development. Most of our mobile clients continue working with us after launch — adding features and updating for new OS versions.

We don't add AI to products as an afterthought. We identify where it creates real value, build exactly that, and integrate it from day one — not bolted on later.
Three ways we apply AI to your product.
We do not build AI for the sake of it. We look at your product, identify where AI creates real value, and build exactly that.

AI integrations
You do not always need to rebuild from scratch. We connect existing AI capabilities from OpenAI, Azure AI and others to your current software stack — extending what you already have without starting over.
When AI makes sense. And when it doesn't.
A lot of companies add AI to their pitch decks. We only add it where it genuinely saves time, reduces manual work, or makes the user experience measurably better. We will tell you honestly if your use case is not ready for it.
✓AI works well when
There is a high volume of repetitive decisions or classifications
Users regularly interact with large amounts of unstructured text or data
The task has a clear output that can be validated or corrected
Speed matters more than perfection on every individual result
You have enough data to train or fine-tune a model meaningfully
~Think carefully when
The problem could be solved more reliably with a well-designed form or rule
The output has serious consequences if it is wrong
You have very little existing data to work from
The user cannot easily detect or correct an AI mistake
The main benefit is the word "AI" in a product description

FAQ
Do we need a lot of data to get started with AI?
Not always. For integrations using foundation models like GPT-4 or Claude, you can get started with very little proprietary data. For fine-tuning or training custom models, we will tell you honestly what volume you need before the results are reliable.
Which AI models do you work with?
We work with OpenAI (GPT-4, Embeddings), Anthropic (Claude), Azure AI, and open-source models depending on your requirements for cost, privacy, and performance. We are model-agnostic — we pick what is right for your use case, not what is newest.
How do you handle data privacy and security?
We design AI features with privacy by default. For sensitive data we can use on-premise or private cloud deployments, avoid sending personal data to third-party APIs, and build audit trails so you always know what the AI did and why.
What happens when the AI gets it wrong?
We always build with fallbacks. AI outputs are never shown to users without a confidence threshold or a human review step where the stakes are high. We also build monitoring so you can see error rates over time and know when retraining is needed.
Can you add AI to our existing product?
Yes, and that is often the fastest path. We start with a technical review of your current stack and identify the integration points. In most cases we can deliver a working AI feature into an existing product in 4–6 weeks.

FAQ
How long does it take to build a SaaS MVP?
A focused MVP with core features — user auth, billing, the main product workflow — typically takes 10–14 weeks. We scope carefully before we start so the estimate is realistic, not optimistic.
Do you help with product strategy and architecture?
Yes. Before writing a line of code we work with you on what to build first, how to architect it for the future you are planning, and what to leave out of the MVP. Most SaaS problems start with bad early decisions — we help you avoid the common ones.
Can you integrate payment processing and subscriptions?
Yes. We work with Stripe, Mollie and custom billing logic. Usage-based, seat-based, flat fee, or hybrid — we have built all of them. Trial periods, upgrade flows, invoicing, dunning and revenue reporting included.
Do you build multi-tenant SaaS platforms?
Yes, and this is something we have done for over 12 years with Negometrix. We know the tradeoffs between shared database, schema-per-tenant, and database-per-tenant — and we will help you pick the right model for your use case and budget.
What happens after the MVP launches?
Most of our SaaS clients continue with us on a retainer for ongoing development. We stay involved — shipping new features, monitoring performance, and evolving the architecture as your user base grows. We do not hand over and disappear.

Negometrix
Legacy .NET platform migrated to Azure — zero downtime
Over twelve years we evolved Negometrix from an on-premise deployment to a fully managed Azure infrastructure — including Azure SQL, Azure App Service, Azure DevOps pipelines and active monitoring. The platform continued operating without interruption throughout, serving thousands of organisations during the transition.
For most production systems the full migration takes 8–12 weeks. This includes the audit, planning, staging environment testing, and the production cutover. We do not compress the timeline in ways that increase risk — we give you a realistic schedule and stick to it.
Will there be downtime during migration?
Our goal is always zero downtime. We use blue-green deployments, traffic shifting, and tested rollback procedures so the cutover is invisible to your users. For systems where some maintenance window is unavoidable, we plan it for the lowest-traffic period and keep it as short as possible.
Which cloud provider do you recommend?
For most of our clients Azure is the right choice — especially if you are running .NET applications or need EU data residency and enterprise compliance. We have 20+ years of Microsoft ecosystem experience. That said, we are not tied to a vendor — if your use case points to AWS or Google Cloud, we will tell you honestly.
Do you handle data migration and validation?
Yes. Data integrity is the highest-risk part of any migration. We run parallel validation before cutting over — comparing row counts, checksums, and business-logic outputs between the old and new environment until we are confident nothing was lost or corrupted.
What does post-migration support look like?
We stay on-call for the first weeks after go-live, monitoring performance, cost, and error rates. Most clients continue with a maintenance retainer after that — covering patches, scaling adjustments, and the occasional architectural change as the product evolves.

Negometrix was a Dutch e-procurement platform built entirely by the Dextrasoft team. Over twelve years we took the product from zero to the dominant e-tendering solution in the Netherlands, serving thousands of public and private organisations before its acquisition by Mercell — one of Europe's largest procurement platforms.
The challenge
Public procurement is a compliance-heavy, high-stakes domain. The platform needed to support complex tendering workflows, multi-tenant isolation, a supplier portal, document management, and a public API — all while meeting the strict reliability expectations of government clients. Every new release had to go out without downtime.
Our solution
We built the platform on .NET with a full multi-tenant architecture, designing the data model and infrastructure from day one to support the scale we knew was coming. We launched NX3 in 2009, then rebuilt and relaunched as NX4 in 2017 with a modern frontend and improved architecture. The same team delivered every sprint, every release, every migration.
Results
The platform scaled to thousands of organisations across the Netherlands, processing billions in contract value. After twelve years of continuous development the product was acquired by Mercell, validating both the technical quality and the market position we had built together.

"Working with the Dextrasoft team was a game-changer. Their expertise in building scalable platforms helped us grow to become the leading e-procurement solution in the Netherlands."
askemo is a B2B SaaS platform for collecting and analysing employee and customer feedback at scale. Dextrasoft built the platform from scratch — multi-tenant, subscription-based, with an AI layer that automatically summarises feedback and surfaces actionable insights.
The challenge
The core problem was volume. Collecting feedback is easy — making sense of thousands of responses across multiple clients, languages and departments without a manual reading process was the real challenge. The platform also needed to be simple enough for non-technical HR teams to use daily.
Our solution
We designed and built the full platform including user management, multi-tenant data isolation, a mobile-first frontend, and an AI integration that uses large language models to summarise feedback threads and generate concrete, prioritised recommendations. What used to take a team hours of reading now happens automatically in seconds.
Results
The platform launched on schedule and has been running in production without major incidents. Customers report significantly reduced time spent on feedback analysis, and the AI summaries have become the most-used feature in the product.

Electronic Public Procurement (EPP) is the platform powering Bulgaria's national public procurement process. Dextrasoft designed and built the cloud-first infrastructure and core platform, replacing a fragmented legacy system with a centralised, auditable, scalable solution for thousands of public authorities.
The challenge
Government procurement involves strict compliance requirements, complex legal workflows, and the expectation of zero downtime. The legacy system was fragmented, difficult to audit, and could not handle the transaction volume required. A national-scale platform needed to be built with reliability, security, and EU data residency as non-negotiable constraints.
Our solution
We built a modern web platform on .NET with Azure cloud infrastructure, designing for high availability from the ground up. The system includes complete audit trails, document management, supplier portals, and a reporting layer for oversight bodies. EU data residency and GDPR compliance were designed in, not added later.
Results
The platform is live and processing public procurement for thousands of Bulgarian authorities. The modernisation reduced processing times, improved transparency, and gave procurement officers a system they can actually use — replacing a process that previously relied on paper and disconnected spreadsheets.

NVZ is the association of Dutch hospitals. Dextrasoft built a bespoke web platform to streamline communication, data exchange, and reporting across the NVZ member network — replacing manual processes with a modern, centralised system that all member hospitals can access and use.
The challenge
Managing information flow across a large network of independent hospital organisations is inherently complex. Each member has different data needs, different internal systems, and different levels of technical capability. The platform needed to be flexible enough to serve all of them without becoming a maintenance nightmare.
Our solution
We designed a portal architecture with role-based access control, allowing different member organisations to see and manage their own data while NVZ administrators maintain oversight of the full network. The platform includes reporting dashboards, document management, and notification workflows tailored to the needs of the healthcare sector.
Results
The platform is in active use across the NVZ member network. Member organisations report improved efficiency in data collection and reporting, and NVZ has gained the network-wide visibility they needed to serve their members more effectively.

treebytree is on a mission to plant one billion trees. Dextrasoft built the technical foundation — a cross-platform mobile application and backend infrastructure — designed to support a global community of tree planters and make every planted tree trackable, verifiable, and impactful.
The challenge
The application needed to work reliably in remote, low-connectivity environments where trees are actually being planted. GPS-based verification, offline data capture, photo uploads, and real-time impact tracking all had to work when mobile signal was poor or absent — and sync reliably when connectivity returned.
Our solution
We built a React Native cross-platform app with a robust offline-first architecture. Tree planting events are captured locally with GPS coordinates, photos, and species data, then synced to the cloud when connectivity is available. The backend infrastructure is designed to scale as the user base and planting volumes grow.

Tender.app helps procurement professionals manage and respond to tenders more efficiently. Dextrasoft integrated an AI-powered data extraction layer that automatically pulls structured information from complex, unstructured tender documents — eliminating the manual reading that was slowing down their users.
The challenge
Tender documents can run to hundreds of pages, written in inconsistent formats across different contracting authorities. Procurement teams were spending hours extracting key requirements, deadlines, evaluation criteria, and submission instructions from each document — time that could be better spent on the actual response.
Our solution
We built an AI integration using large language models to parse tender documents and extract structured data: deadlines, requirements, evaluation criteria, contact details, and submission formats. The extracted data populates the Tender.app workspace automatically, giving users a clean structured summary of what they need to know and do.
Results
Users reported dramatically reduced time on document analysis. The AI extraction handles documents across multiple languages and formats, and the structured output integrates directly into the tender management workflow already inside the product.

Mart-club needed a modern marketplace platform to connect buyers and sellers at scale. Dextrasoft built the end-to-end solution — vendor onboarding, product catalogue management, payment processing, order management, and real-time inventory tracking — as a scalable SaaS platform.
The challenge
Marketplace platforms are technically complex because they serve two different user groups simultaneously: buyers expecting a seamless shopping experience and vendors expecting reliable tools to manage their inventory and orders. Getting both sides right, without compromising on performance or reliability, required careful architecture from the start.
Our solution
We designed and built a multi-sided marketplace architecture with separate vendor and buyer portals, a shared product catalogue with real-time inventory, integrated payment processing, and an order management system with automated status tracking. The platform was built to scale horizontally as vendor and product volumes grew.
Results
The platform successfully onboarded vendors and buyers, supporting real-time transactions with reliable inventory management. The architecture has allowed Mart-club to expand their catalogue and vendor base without performance degradation.

The Office of General Services for New York State needed a modern digital platform for state vehicle procurement — replacing a fragmented legacy system with a centralised, auditable marketplace that state agencies could use to find, compare, and procure fleet vehicles.
The challenge
Government procurement has unique constraints: strict audit requirements, complex approval workflows, multi-agency access control, and the expectation that the system will be reliable during business-critical procurement cycles. The legacy process was slow, difficult to audit, and required significant manual intervention.
Our solution
We built a modern web marketplace platform designed specifically for government procurement workflows. The system includes multi-agency access control, full audit trails for every action, a vendor catalogue with standardised vehicle specifications, and an approval workflow engine that supports the multi-step sign-off processes required in government purchasing.
Results
The platform went live and is used by state agencies across New York for vehicle procurement. Procurement officers report faster processing times, better visibility into available options, and a significant reduction in the manual coordination previously required.
